can I have another beer, please?

I’m sitting here, with the second dark stout tonight; my favourite recently.

I’m wondering…

Why don’t I take a selfie right now? Why don’t I share a live video of me, opening another can of beer and spilling half right on my shoes?

I enjoy this moment. Sun is shining, and we are having a meaningful and deep conversation with my wife. Life is beautiful.

However, I feel somehow ashamed. And I don’t want others, my clients or potential clients to see me right now, sipping beer out of the can, eating potato chips.

For the outside world, I will keep wearing my golden armour, shining and unscratched.

For the outside world, I will protect the image of a real-life Ironman who wakes up every morning at 5 am, run 30km before the breakfast, study 5h, eat only salad and deliver badass personal training and group classes, every day, with no exception, who is never tired, never angry, always positive, always happy?

Oh, really!? Stop this crap.

What’s makes me behave this way? Is it the peer pressure?

People tend to talk only about their success, about the achievements, they like to show their better profile and keep the low stuff hidden, well beyond the surface…

But… this is part of our lifes.

We are only/just humans and we are not perfect.

We can only try…

A one “bad” decision or “outside the script move” isn’t the end of the world. That’s OK. Accept this and start again.

Every decision you make brings you closer or further from your goal. Just make sure you make more good ones.

Or no. Who am I to judge!

Don’t waste your life fulfilling other people’s expectation.

Be you.
